I dont know much about it yet, just basics) Thanks. My own is updated to 2005 import and domestic with trans, body, abs, etc and I still have less then 2 grand in it.Īre updates and upgrades available for the older machines for things like CAN should I need that anytime in the near future I would love a scanner that had true bi-directional functions also. The snap MT2500 is still an awesome tool and has come down in price to be quite reasonable. So the more vehicles and models a scanner works with the better Any input on the main differences in these units or if I should be looking at another scanner all together (The unit I really want is about 1500-2500, but I am buying a 2 post lift before that so a higher end scanner will have to wait). I currently only own GM vehicles but will soon be buying a newer (lightly wrecked) Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Subaru or to fix up. But not knowing much about these scanners yet (I learn very fast once I get something in hand- so I dont need simplicity in a scanner, but I dont want something frustrating to use either), Im not sure if I will be loosing any features if I fork out the extra cash for the AutoXray I do most of my own work on my vehicles as well as some for family and friends.
